Main purpose of the job

The Project Manager is the person responsible for co-ordinating a project from its idea to execution. PMO is responsible for the following project types:

  • New Product Launch (NPD)
  • Exisiting Product Launch (EPD)
  • Artwork
  • Marketing Materials (displays, POS materials, promotions and customisation)

Main focus will be on Artwork rollout with giving support on NPD & EPD projects. Key focus will be on our Dog & Cat Food Nutrition products.

Responsibilities

Deliver Projects

  • Project schedule owner – creates schedule and highlight in advance capacity issues.
  • Provides leadership to ensure all activities are synchronized and integrated with other project activities/milestones
  • Leads multi-functional team meetings to track progress and resolve and/or escalate issues for decisions
  • Ensures the timely communication of information externally (supplier, repro agency, design agency, art studio etc) and internally.

PMO Information Systems

  • Prefers to have knowledge of Workfront, Patex, Smartling and Prisma and uses these tools appropriately to deliver projects.
  • If applicable, own systems and be able to train others in them.
  • Collaborates and/or leads system improvement projects.

Standard Work Process

  • Follows PMO standard work processes.
  • Suggests ways to simplify processes, reduce rework, reduce cost or otherwise improve systems. Leads implementation of improvement where appropriate.

Knowledge and Skills

Leadership / direction:

  • Must be a team player with good collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Acts as business owner with operational discipline and focuses on priorities. Ownership/accountability and “CAN DO” attitude is a must.
  • Works autonomously and can manage decisions as well as escalate accordingly.
  • Strong organisational skills and can work in a structured way.

Communication:

  • In Dutch and English, written and spoken
  • Can lead meetings and has good writing skills to provide clear direction to others, communicate with other functions and external suppliers.

Technical expertise:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Mainly Word & Excel), SAP/S4 and PMO systems (Workfront, Patex, Smartling and Prisma)

Other Information

  • Sometimes travel to our office in Melle (Germany). On average once/twice a month.
  • Driving license (B) required
